this is my design for the cigarette sculpture.  wire frame 3 feet tall, I want it to look like smoke so white butts for the text and the pile below will be the orange colored ones.  I am placing it in front of a store/restaurant  on a public sidewalk.  foot traffic optional and a blurred ash tray. Photos micro focus on the piece blurred background.

I have made my frame. It is now ready for my paper and trash collection to be applied.  then mounts on the back to be able to hang it in the desired location.

This is my letter form for my paper and trash sculpture.  I will make frames then be able to apply my collected material.

i was able to buy a table top so I welded a base for it.

Gum ideas

I am leaning towards the first one actually I am doing the first one because the materials are more available.  That design is tailored to look like webs of dripping gum holding up a ball of gum.

concept for this first weeks sculpture. at least the second story hung across, text is on from my text choice "Cogitate on your Accessories." it will depend on the rest of the bags I collect if the text part are white bags or colored bags, ether way I think I will make the text a different color then the lines that hold it.

video progression

my video will follow the process of gathering in this fashion but should depicted every item different this one is my scrapping for the gum. I will probably show the sadness of a plastic bag left out. the dead solider cigarette, making them feel left behind. show the easy come easy go of paper materials. I use the sculpture footage of that material as a break between the gathering footage.  

The Info- graphic portion will be hand sketched, pointing out specific parts and materials and relaying the information through animation.
